1.) Anti-Asian Hate Walkout & Rally

  • Eggy '21 proposed a school walkout (like Young Democrats' gun violence walkout)
    • presentation might be better because it educates
    • a walkout may not be as constructive
    • send him information about the rally (actions towards change)
  • SHC Asian American Student Union sent info about a rally this Sunday, 4/18 @ 1pm in Chinatown


2.) St. Ignatius Panel
  • Ethan volunteered––let us know if you need help!

    • 4/21 at 5pm
  • open for us to attend
    • Each panelist should prepare 5 - 7 minutes to respond to one or more of the topics. Then we'll open it up for responding to each other then questions.
    • As an update, Fr. Greg will introduce panelists and then Teresa will moderate the conversation.

3.) Update from Ms. Hernandez?

4.) COVID-19 Zoom 
  • Scheduled for next Friday, 4/23

    • Model Minority Myth: Miko
    • Activism/Response: Ethan
    • Discussion/Reflection: Daniel
  • have slides done by next meeting
  • SI announcement on Tuesday, 4/20 and Friday - Sophie
    • go more in depth and explain the importance
  • IG post and story - publicist
    • emphasize that it is open to the entire school

5.) Board Bonding
