3) SIPAC

• Call with SIPAC and AALPA

• Waiting for Ms. Hernandez’s feedback + Dr. Davis
• SIPAC writing a response - want to amplify ASC’s efforts

4) ASC Jackets

• already in contact and waiting for a price
• delivery time might take about 7 weeks 
• ONLY SENIORS can pre order the jackets once we figure out a price
• tentative price value: $100
• goal is to design, order, and distribute them before the end of the year

• visit Boathouse website for jackets that are pricey but a good investment- Eva and Viv
• Ella has made final edits- 1st design
• Ella's design: talk about suggested changes in design
• has more variety of Asian cultures
• change Student to Students’
• suggest adding the Filipino parol at the center of the design instead
• change 50 to 50th

4) ASC Letter

• Send out date TBD
• meeting with Dr. Davis (Eva, Viv and moderators were present)
• hoping to send out letter by Friday, May 12
• need to rework and make changes to make the language sound less accusatory (ex. blatantly saying administration is being complacent), but the bulk of the letter is good
• skim through the letter and comment on areas where the tone feels tense —> rework the tone to sound more invitational and focused on community building
• need to make it clear that we will not condone this behavior

5) AANHPI Month in May

• ID formation event/social: May 17 event
• Send out letter first
• Meeting with ASC students for a safe space (like healing circle)
• Beneficial because of how reflective, educational, and engaging they are
• Topic Ideas: reacting to letter
• Wednesday, May 17, 2-3pm
• closed event 
• Open space for questions 
• Food: KBBQ

9) ASC Support 

• reminder to all the board that we are here to support each other!
• as we enter the fourth quarter, we remind ourselves to take consistent breaks, reach out to wellness counselors or trusted adults when we need help, and to always prioritize our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health!
