1A. Holi

Thank you all for your hard work!!! What are some things that we can improve upon for next year?

-More shirts

-Move out of choral room

-Be mindful of getting powder on chairs

B) Justin - any updates about the Everything, Everywhere all at Once Movie Day? Wednesday April 10th in Choral Room? Tentative date and location; if not, Thursday April 11th or maybe Taxis’ classroom

- 2:20 movie AND discussion

- Nam and Justin talked with Ms. Hernandez : email originally planned for seniors was not sent due to the fact that seniors should have been on top of it: future board please be ready for hella seniors to ask you about sashes If asked about it, tell them to email moderators

Did we ever set a day for the movie event? I can’t find it in last week’s minutes.

Preparation: Justin will meet with Mr. Taxis

Food: Popcorn, drinks (lemonade, water), cookies

Publicity: DUE MONDAY AFTER BREAK, CLOSED EVENT (ASC ONLY)

Graduation:

At graduation —> the senior class throughout the years

A gift?

Made physically on paper, a notebook, but scanned digitally and print into copies

Continuous:

Big scrapbook of all the classes that gets added on every year/event

Made in a photo album

For ending of the year, flip through it together??

Made physically on paper, 1 copy

(Easier for me to make on paper, think its more personal than digitally. We can take turns making it)

Ideas:

- Affinity-Group wide scrapbook

-Other groups can submit their photos

Rini will reach out to Ms. Hernandez

- If we don’t get any update from Ms. Hernandez, we can make this an ASC thing

- Gained support from Ms. Hernandez!

- Physical scrapbook that we digitally scan

- Collaborative, including Magis events

- We could have a historian or ambassador come by to help contribute to a physical scrapbook

- We do have about a month to work on this so…

- Set up a Google Drive folder to include all of the scrapbook photos

- All photos due the Wednesday we get back from spring break

- Ms. Hernandez will send out an email to the affinity groups

- Could we send out an email to ASC members to ask them to contribute photos? - Ashley

2D. ASC Jackets

Ms. Wong: Any updates on the sending of the money?
- ….in the red (by a few thousands)
- Need to sell more jackets
- Send out another call out to get people to buy jackets around April 8
- No sales (unfortunately)
- Will focus on once we get back from spring break

3. Prayer dates for upcoming events: if you celebrate these holidays would you like to sign up to lead prayer?

Ancestors’ Day– tomb sweeping? (Thursday 4/11): Justin, Ashley (can also reach out to other ASC members) - Nam and Anthony will talk to Mr. Hansen to figure out dates

Lao and Cambodian New Year (Tuesday 4/16): TBD (can also reach out to other ASC members) - Rini will write an email reaching out by 3/21 (in drive, needs to be checked)

AANHPI Month (Wednesday 5/1): Isa and Jordan

AANHPI Month (Tuesday 5/7): Future Board Members

5. Potential Collaboration with Sacramento Asian Affinity Group

Start at Asian art Museum —> go to Chinatown

Ashley will reach out to Dr. McCann to figure out the community service aspect

Jayden suggested March 16 or 23 - doesn't work for everyone on ASC board

Tentative: April 13th after Spring break
Moderators of both affinity groups will collaborate to talk about times
could we meet up; on Sunday? Zoom in the evening at 8pm
Max length is 45 minutes

6. Nam and Justin's Cool Boba Idea (founded on Sunday, January 14)

- We can ask people to send in photos of them getting boba to repost on ASC story

Me and Justin will hopefully getting boba over spring break! Look forward to our next post within the next week and a half :)

- How was it??

- pretty good! Lots of good advice and wisdom from recent grads, thanks panel moderators! It was also recorded so we’ll find that from one of the parents!

- Not possible with the limited time frame - they need to complete the form.
