  • Interpersonal - community building, like a buddy system - eases freshmen into transition
  • “ASC SUPPORT” - letter writing system with other affinity groups members

Pachi Chavez ‘26

  • Wellness programs ie: during finals. In Mandarin class, did Taichi - felt relaxed

Maddie Dela Rama ‘27

  • cross-affinity - relics or items we can bring from our culture. Have a gallery walk and show what it means to you. All different subcultures and see what it means 
  • Service activity with all of ASC - great bonding experience

  • Check-ins, esp at beginning of year. Getting lower classmen and freshmen a place where they belong, a place where they can ask questions, get to know SI community

  • Intersectionality / A way to have events to know we are all inter-connected with other affinity groups. Meet people from other affinity groups
  • In wiegand last year, be in groups with others that are not from same affinity. Have more joint events

  • Involved in community outside of SI - volunteering at an org in SF - could be an ID formation

Claire Cadiz ‘26

  • Junior class did presentation on immigrants grandparents to US. Maybe people present to 9th/10th
  • Wellness Fair -  finals mental health club does something. Incorporate asian practices - calming each other down
  • Closer connection and meet daily with a freshmen/soph

Kaley Chin ‘26

  • Cross affinity events would be good - X-Periods and panels - good, but also doesn’t get unique experience. Group discussion between affinity groups 


4. Diwali w/ SIPAC - Not until Wed, Oct. 22

    1. Update/make a copy of slides from last year + assign roles
    2. Diwali 2024
