Click here for additional details and application.

2) Speak and Lead with Pride - due Friday, January 9, 2025 (during our winter break)

Speak & Lead with Pride is a hands-on course designed to teach the art of public speaking to students who may not have had any previous training. SI students have participated in previous years and found the program incredibly helpful! Below is Jacqueline Hang '26, who will be a tech remarks on the program:

“Speak and Lead is such an amazing program for AAPI high school students in the Bay Area. Not only did I learn more about different public speaking techniques, I also learned more about myself and how I can feel confident when speaking in front of large crowds. This training gave me such helpful tips on how to become a good public speaker. With the help of my Speak and Lead teachers last year, I was able to become a finalist in the program! I am so grateful to this program and am so excited to help anyone else joining Speak and Lead for the 2026 year!”

See attached flyer for additional information. You can apply here.
