1. CNY Parade

• January 24 - mandatory planning/informational meeting - Rachel
• interesting anecdotes about our group? why are we involved with the CNY Parade?
• Pasko, social events with boba, dragon boat
• costumes - is it our responsibility? - hold off on this until next week

2. MLK March

• Monday - January 19
• Mr. Delaney is supposed to send an email with information
• arrive at 10:30, starts at 11

1. PASKO - Feedback to bring to SIPAC
-It was awesome! 
-Fashion show was great!
-Could be shorter next year.
-Loved the faculty dance
-Lot of Filipino performances, have more variety
-Stage was great!
-emcee was smooth
-parents need to rehearse speeches
-no improv. 
-performers eat first!
-Fashion Show exit for next time

-Make a poll for movie day; Movie and Boba Day, Friday, January 16th
-Bend it Like Beckham, Mulan, Maze Runner, Karate Kid 1 (Original), Rush Hour 3, Fast and the Furious 3 (Tokyo Drift), (Thank you Jason)
-Nicole will work with Jason on the Boba list.
-Make it very clear that you need to stay for the Boba.

1. Somewhere Between movie showing - feedback
- liked movie!
-personal story of identity, and relatable
-engaged in the movie; very moved
-movie was long, so discussion was ok
-struggle with forcing relationship with mother and daughter
-adoptees, banana, racial identity. Very relatable in SI community. Misunderstood, lack of awareness. 
-started a new path to talk about these issues, keep building off.
-need more ASC members to come. 
-Do it again!
-Less content and more discussion for the next time

2. PASKO - this Saturday!
-Get excited!
-6 pm, get tickets ASAP 
-Jason will send out the announcement about Pasko (Pah-scó)
