- Fashion Show is hard - fast dancing

- Tyler went to Unity Council meeting
- will start filming on Monday
- Tyler will find two students - possibly a freshmen and senior

3. ASC Social Plans/Ideas
- will show video and make a GOYB
- will talk more about it in next meeting

4. X-Period - Affinity Group - 11/28/17
- Spencer will confirm with Xienna, who will talk to Anthony Mark
- may do a video or performance
- Senor Orque and Ms. Wong will do a run-through or see video on Monday

1. Open House Debrief

• Overestimated number of flyers
• Some did not take it seriously
• Just for the candy
• Others actually wanted to know more, especially parents
• Some knew about ALAS and BSU beforehand
• Overall, went pretty well!

2. Pasko updates

Fashion Show rehearsal (Tuesdays, 3-4:00pm)- ensure that people are actually going to attend​

3. December 1 Identity Formation meeting

• Movie + discussion questions

• Different medians: dance, art, etc.
• Confirm we have the Spoken Word Script before reaching out

5. Logistics
- Sending emails -
use new spreadsheet of all APIA students at school

• Some students don't identify as Asian and are getting emails
• Some students may be multi-racial and are not getting emails (didn't list they were Asian)
• Make a form to have a list of those that want or don't want to be part of ASC

2. Fall Harvest Meet and Greet Potluck and Celebration

• You are invited to attend the Fall Harvest Meet-and-Greet Potluck & Celebration sponsored by the Father Sauer Academy and AALPA on Friday, October 27 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm in the Commons.

• We need your help to get student volunteers from each affinity group for that evening. The students will be coordinating activities for the FSA students. These activities will include:        
  • face painting
  • pumpkin carving/painting
  • bean bag toss
  • origami
  • halloween coloring sheets

  
  
• ​Please hold a brief meeting this week to inform students of this volunteer opportunity to coordinate an activity.​ We are asking that they arrive on 10/27 before 6 pm to set up the activity.
